Last week saw the National Hate Crime Awareness Week; a national endeavour that aims to raise awareness of the increasing occurrence of hate crimes in the UK, in attempts to hear the voices and provide solace to those subject to such atrocities and ultimately decrease the alarming rate of hate fuelled crime.
Lancashire Council of Mosques has been recognised by the Police as a hate crime victim support centre. This declaration ensures great trust in LCM and solidifies its place as a community oriented organisation.
