| substance misuse within the BME communites |

I've currenlty done a lot of work within the BME community surrounding issues regarding subtsance misuse. After 30 years of living within the BME community, i still 18 months on from starting this work have come up against a lot of denial that the BME community does not have any issues regarding substance misuse. my collegue and i have made major steps within the Burnley and Nelson areas of the BME communitues surrounding drug awarenes and trying to get rid of the stigma and to reinforce what confidentiality is. There are services out there to help with these issues and we are here to help.

Hello Norman.I am doing a presentation next week on why Bme are under represented in substance misuse services in Pendle and wondered if you had any info.
Figures for % of Bme in Pendle would also help or where I can obtain such info.
